Are you in the mood for a story?
Well, feel free to scroll down if not.
There lived a man, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Barely aware of what’s going on outside his near vicinity, he didn’t care.
His daily life mostly involved, a cup of tea right after he woke up, sipping on it while watching the waves hit the shore, smiling at his kids playing with the sand, writing stories in his little study room, he wrote letters to his friends making sure they’re all good.
Believe it or not, there was a time when he was smack dead in the middle of the hustle. For about 30 years of his life, that’s all he knew.
Sometimes he thinks ‘Wow! What a waste all of that was.’
After having left all of the business of the city, he saw a new life, a better one. He fears he missed out on 30 years, now that he probably has about five years to go.
Then, he realises there’s no point regretting. He gets to watch the waves hitting the shore, all day long. Happy with the family he has around.
He smiles, every day.

I’m one too many things, all at once. Makes it very hard for me to write about me, and I’m not going to try.
Maybe, I’ll just tell you all about what I like to do. A person’s habits and work are most times a good way to figure them out.
I write emailers every Sunday.
A five-minute read every Sunday.
Check out the archive, they’re mostly food for thought.
I wrote a book, a really short one.
It’s called The Depressed Kid.
A short-version of a book I’ve always wanted to write, a story brewing in my mind.
I’m constantly fascinated by all forms of expression.
It’s amazing how we manage to convey thoughts and invoke emotions through things we watch, read, listen and write. I remember reading somewhere, that art was an inevitable step in humanity’s journey towards where we are now, and that’s a beautiful thought. Imagine, a million possible places we could’ve been now, and all of them would’ve included art.

Conversations are my fuel.
Over time, I’ve realised the value of conversations. You sit and have them, and while most people don’t think much of it, that’s not me. There’s always something to learn, something to ponder about, and most importantly, a different point of view.
Here are a few more things I’ve liked doing.
Everything.
A playlist updated every Wednesday, filled with what I like to think is some of the best out there.
Check it out on Apple Music & Spotify.
Eunioa.
A passion project & initiative that me and Asma Zain, worked on. Unfortunately, we’re on an indefinite hold on the project.
Long Form Articles
Sometimes, it takes more than my Sunday Emailers to get a point across and that’s when I post it on Medium.
